capela de Maria - Ettenberg

Visit of two pilgrimage churches on September 23, 2017 on Untersberg:

Visitation of the Virgin Ettenberg in Germany / Bavaria: The Marian pilgrimage to the Visitation of Mary Ettenberg can be traced back to 1697. The foundation stone for today's church was laid on May 17th, 1724. The principal was the prince provost Julius Heinrich von Rehlingen (see also church in Ramsau). The tradition of the visitation of Maria Ettenberg tells of a miraculous portrait of the Virgin Mary, which "wandered" from Marktschellenberg to Ettenberg to a linden tree and thus became the origin of the pilgrimage and the church. The stump of the old tree is now under the high altar of the Ettenberg pilgrimage church. In addition, there is a copy of the miraculous miraculous image "Mária Pócs" which is located in St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna today. The picture is known for its miraculous tear flow. Prince Eugen's victory in the Battle of Zenta against the Turks on September 11, 1697 was ascribed to this miraculous image. On July 7th, the Sunday after the Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary (July 2nd), the picture was carried to St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna for the first time. Today the Vienna Cathedral Chapter celebrates these so-called "Maria-Pötsch-Ämter" - more - https://youtu.be/Ec5qDQiV2BE -Hungarian Greek Catholic Community Máriapócs - https://youtu.be/pwEMC3-idM4 Sépsége nem csak megnyugtat, ösztönöz is - Máriapócs, nemzeti kegyhelyünk

The Marienheilgarten with pilgrimage church in Großgmain: The Großgmain Marienkirche is one of the 12 Untersberg churches of the "Lazarus Gitschner" legend (see Salzburg City Archives) and is therefore one of the 12 strongest places of power on the Untersberg. The Sophia Maria statue is in the Marienheilgarten. It is surrounded by a force field. Opposite Sophia is a boulder from Untersberg in a second circle. This mountain is considered a powerful place of power, some call it the heart chakra of our planet (Dalai Lama). The Marienlied in six languages: German, English, Spanish, Italian, French, was written and sung by Luise von Kuenheim and Inge Hein. In this sense it is an international, European Marian song. The trumpet in the video was played by the conductor and musician Roland Bauer.
